Game Thread THE GAME, 11/26/16, 12pm ET, ABC

The Game this year is really big, maybe bigger than last year's. And I am still quite bitter about last Saturday. Have to get the WR going and the OL blocking better. If they win this year, they will have a big momentum as it is at home this year.

On the other hand, scUM's probably going to come in undefeated, and I am relishing the thought of Urban as an underdog!!!

On a sad note, I might be moving from NY to NC that weekend. So I may miss the game... :(

I was looking through the stats for the year and found a few things that I think OSU needs to do against them to come out with the win.

1. OSU is a top 10 rushing offense and while they are not bad at stopping the run its also their most vulnerable part of their defense.

2. OSU is 2nd in the nation in defensive touchdowns with 6. They have managed 2 for the year.

3. Ohio state out does scum in both stopping punt and kickoff returns. Matter of fact they're ranked in the 70s in kickoff return coverage. This IMO is where you see the depth difference.

4. OSU ranks 5th is yards lost behind the LOS. Scum ranks 55th

5. OSU has the best pass efficiency defense as well

What this tells me is we need to win the field position battle and with us having a big advantage there it's definately probable. Also getting their offense behind the sticks is crucial and with them being rather medicore at preventing loss again the opportunity is there.

Also when osu gets turnovers (which we have a slight advantage on anyways) we score. So if we can find a way to get a turnover odds are we either take it to the house or at the minimum gain a good bit of yards which will set our offense up.

I like our match ups when I just statistically look at things

Reports: Michigan QB Wilton Speight out indefinitely with broken collarbone

Michigan lost its first game of the season Saturday night, and apparently it lost its starting quarterback as well.

MGoBlog.com first reported Monday that Wilton Speight will miss the rest of the season with a broken collarbone. The Detroit Free Press later reported the same, noting that the injury was not expected to be this severe when it was evaluated after Michigan's loss to Iowa.

There's a chance Speight could return in time for Michigan's bowl game -- or possibly the College Football Playoff -- as collarbones typically keep players out from six to eight weeks.
