Since Michigan became the traditional season-ending game in 1935, Ohio State has entered The Game undefeated 15 times:

Season_____Record_________Result____________________
1944........8-0-0.........Ohio State 18, Michigan 14
1954........8-0-0.........Ohio State 21, Michigan 7
1961........7-0-1.........Ohio State 50, Michigan 20
1968........8-0-0.........Ohio State 50, Michigan 14
1969........8-0-0.........Michigan 24, Ohio State 12
1970........8-0-0.........Ohio State 20, Michigan 9
1973........9-0-0.........Ohio State 10, Michigan 10
1975.......10-0-0.........Ohio State 21, Michigan 14
1979.......10-0-0.........Ohio State 18, Michigan 15
1993........9-0-1.........Michigan 28, Ohio State 0
1995.......11-0-0.........Michigan 31, Ohio State 23
1996.......10-0-0.........Michigan 13, Ohio State 9
2002.......12-0-0.........Ohio State 14, Michigan 9
2006.......11-0-0.........Ohio State 42, Michigan 39
2012.......11-0-0.........Ohio State 26, Michigan 21

Ohio State's record in those games is currently 10-4-1 (.700).
Zach Boren was fired up today - he led the team in tackles with 9, had a huge sack, and an even bigger fumble recovery. Someone needs to make a GIF of Boren's reaction after he sacked Gardner in the second quarter. Zach was also on the field for the final kneel downs - a nice gesture by Coach Meyer.

C.J. Barnett totally blew the coverage on Roundtree's 75-yard TD, then made up for it with his game-saving interception. Philly Brown gift-wrapped a Michigan TD with a fumbled punt, then made up for it with a touchdown reception of his own. Redemption is sweet.

The defense played soft in the first half, then made a statement on the fourth-down play at the start of the third quarter. They shut Michigan out in the second half, held them to 75 yards, and forced three turnovers. The defense allowed the offense to do just enough to win this game (and the offense did barely enough).

Take out the two big touchdown plays, and Michigan ran 45 plays for 137 yards (3.04 per play).

Carlos Hyde is a grown-ass man. He ran hard between the tackles all game long. Third-and-seven with the game on the line, and he picks up 13 right up the gut. Two more straight into the teeth of the Michigan defense, and it was victory formation time.

And Hyde's clutch 13-yard run as time was running out? Urban's version of the old "Dave" play. Who says that you can't play power football from the spread?

Philly Brown finished the season with 60 receptions; last year, the entire wide receiving corps (7 players) had 65 combined.

This marks the sixth perfect season in Ohio State history. The Buckeyes won national championships in three of those seasons (1954, 1968, and 2002), and did not in the other three (1916, 1944, and presumably 2012).

With Wisconsin and Penn State at home, and Michigan State rotating off the schedule, could Urban Meyer be riding a 23-game winning streak entering next year's version of The Game...?

Wow, an undefeated season and no bowl, it's hard to believe. I didn't see this coming after the first few games but it really happened. With the top two teams in the B1G not eligible for bowls (I guess Pedo State would be the 2nd best team) every other team is moving up, gonna be outclassed. It's going to be a butt rape bowl season for the B1G I'm afraid.

I haven't watched ABC's Buckeye Football Fever in over 4 years. WOW, has it gone down hill. Where are all the old reporters?

Also, I think Northwestern has a good shot of beating whoever they play. They look surprisingly good this year.

Maybe, they didn't have any bad losses but didn't have any great wins either. They'll probably get matched up against a SEC team in the Capital 1 or the Gator Bowl. With Alabama and Georgia being the likely BCS team that means most likely either LSU or Florida. Good luck to them. I think Nebraska will end up in the Rose Bowl. I think it all depends upon who they're matched up against. They nearly beat UCLA earlier but UCLA has gotten better. Nebraska squeaked by Iowa. I just kind find a good match up. The B1G should prepare their collective anuses I fear.
