The Many Troubles of Marcus Vick (merged)

I think Marcus Vicks re-action against the WVU coach was nothing more than an Incidental considering it was an away game for them and they knew it was going to be a hard game to win. In the heat of battle I think we all re-act in different ways and then after we come to our senses and know we should have not done waht we did.

And sometimes i wonder about Coach Beamer and they way he controls some of his behavior patterns of his football players. He gives me the impression that he is just a bit loosey gossey with his team and in the games, late in the season when they are on the line, he looses sight of what his team is really about. I just wonder how Ohio State would fair against one of his teams, if we ever had to play them.

I think the elbow thing against the coach was more of a "im on their sideline so let me just sorta get people out of my way and get back on the field of play" type of thing but the flipping of the finger and throwing th eball in the WVU guys face is bush league and I would expect Beamer to address it.

Vick is turning out to be quite NOT his brother in terms of thug-a-tude. Michael seems to put out a very clean and mature attitude with the spot light on him whereas Marcus gets arrested twice and flips off fans and instigates fights.

The guy is a dick who needs his brother to knock him down a few notches or a team who plays him take a few cheap shots on their own just because of his lack of sportsmanship he has shown thus far.

You are good...we get it. But if you throw that football in my face then we will start sending 300+ lbs D-linemen after your legs.

I could care less about flipping off the crowd, they probably did deserve it. Flipping the ball at the defender was nothing...from the descriptions I'd heard I thought he actually threw the ball hard at his face, he just tossed it to/at him. I wish the clip showed more of the hitting the coach thing. I want to know what happened from the time he hit the sideline until that clip picked it up. From what it shows he launched himself elbow first into the back of the coach's head...if that's the case he should get suspended for a game or two, but he probably won't.

I think the bird is indicative to his problems with dealing with stressful situations. Situations that at first, seems silly like a middle finger but could escalate to things more serious like jail, oh wait, the guy has been there... twice. I guess I know all I need to know about the guy and his "charming" personality.

To Marcus:
I have seen Michael Vick. He is a great player with good sportsmanship and you, sir, are no Michael Vick.

I disagree. I think such behavior is ridiculous and immature. Moreover, it reflects poorly on Va. Tech when their coaches didn't pull him from the game, suspend him, or even address the behavior in the days following the game. Unless some sort of disciplinary action is taken (even if it's just pulling him from a series or a few plays or extra running after practice), such poor behavior will continue.

First time I glanced at this one...

Two thoughts.

1) The role of the WVU fans is underestimated in this article. I have never seen a rowdier bunch or a more hostile environment...if you've ever been to "The Pit" you know what I mean.

2) Vick is a timebomb. He is the next Lawrence Phillips. Some NFL team will take a chance though.
