The Masters (Official Thread)

Well, not certain whether Bryan will turn the golf world upside down, but he is winning more now. What he does prove, however, is that there is a HUGE difference between playing a practice round than the pressure of an official course. Had he carried his practice round into the four-day play, he might have made some big noise. However, he didn't. OK, so maybe he'll do it next year.....next year....

He was also dealing with vertigo most of the week.

Didn't hear that. He's a Fresno kid (right up the road), so hear a lot of chatter.....still, if he can be dizzy and hit par 5's with a nine iron, he must be doing something right. (I sure as heck can't). I'm certain we'll see him atop a/more leaderboards in 2021. Maybe there'll be some fans to cheer him on. Like that he's a technician/tinkerer/thinker in his approach to the game.

Thanks Thump. Didn't hear that around the 19th hole....sounds kinda like what Jason Day had in the US Open in Seattle. Maybe Bryson has too much golf stuff floating around in his head....am certain he'll get it resolved and make a push for #1. It'd be great for the game.

So, who y'all got this year to win it?

I would like to see Justin Thomas win but he'll do something Thomas-like to keep him from doing it. If Tiger were to win it would be the weirdest, coolest most unbelievable achievement in sport imo.

Have some fun money spread around on Cam Smith (14/1), Morikawa (20/1) and Sam Burns (35/1). So those guys are probably out lol.

Expecting the big names to show up. It’s a great field.

That's a pretty good group I think. Morikawa has to be a guy I would have thought going in would do well. I caught a few of his comments earlier in the week and he seems like he's feeling confident....

I wanted Cam Smith in the family pool but the future son-in-law picked him 1 pick ahead of me. I think has star and major power. He can really go low at times. Two doubles and still spots 68.

I’ve got Rahm, Scheffler, Hovland, and Schauffele. Casey, who WD, and Reed on my bench.
