God bless my alma mater, I haven't been down there in a few years. Imagine what kind of parties would happen if we had a .500 football team :wink2:

I wonder if they still riot due to daylight savings?

Texas is a party school by default. Its like living in new orleans with a few more rules in exchange for cleanliness. Pluss is has a very large greek sceene which is one of the things the review looks at.

If Greek scene is important, I'm surprised OU made the list... I think maybe 10%-15% of the kids go greek (at least social greek)... guess OU crushed in the other categories to make up for the lack of greek life...

I think it might have something to do with 25+ bars all in a crawl of campus has something to do with it. Add in Halloween and the spring street fests and riots that always happen. Yeah, we know how to drink a bit :drunks:

Also it might have something to do with the 4 highest marijuana producing counties in Ohio happen to be around Athens (with Meigs county right next door) might have something to do with it :pimp:

It's tough to judge a whole school based on one or two people who went to that school. There are hardcore partiers at every school and there are dorks at every school.

I definitely agree with the worst football stadium though.

I'm sure that with the large greek scene. They have a lot of de-buggery, instead of debauchery. Now that this has been revealed. Thump will be on the first flight to Austin.

Well the greek system is different everywhere but it is huge in the south. aTm is really the only school that i can think of that is anti greek, and even that is changing to some extent. The texas greek system has been responsible for throwing parties that playboy rated in the top ten in the nation. Honestly i could care less one way or the other but i had plenty of fun with it.

No question about it. I went up there for The Game back in '89 and they stuck us in that end zone where all the "fans" pelted us with stuff because we wouldn't sit down. Hey, I was accustomed to C-Deck at the 'shoe. We NEVER sat down during The Game!

Anyway, the seats are terrible at that place and you can't see anything. It's just a lousy place to watch a game.
