The Paul Finebaum Show (Official Thread)

I'm not tuning into that SEC troll. Now we gotta listen to his ass toot his SEC horn after OU choked the 2nd half away and Clemson didn't show up.

I took PTO on Tuesday. I anticipated (very correctly) that I would be hungover as hell.
As such, I was on the couch and had his show on in the background.

The fourth caller was an Alabama fan who said that Baker Mayfield's tears at the Rose Bowl post game press conference cured his arthritis.
Finebaum took exactly zero calls from UGA fans.

Get off of BP. That sixth Horcrux isn't going to find itself.

How so? Finebaum is interesting because he provides a venue for hilarious charicatures of SEC fans to make fools of themselves for the world to laugh at.

Outside of that I don’t find anything he does notable or unique... am I missing something?
Correct, he is probably the most average person to work for ESPN college football crew. In fact, he is so average that probably does make him unique. When he gives his insight on a game, I always wonder how many people in around my water cooler are more qualified.

I meant it would be interesting to see all the SEC homers have a fit over Finebaum coming to the BTN. I actually don't mind listening to him. He obviously plays to his fanbase, but so does any broadcaster.
I’m really not trying to be a dick here, but people like him that much?

Like, if Gerry Dinardo went to the SEC Network (or wherever) I really would not care.

It's not that people like him that much. But it gives the SEC crazies an outlet on a national scale. Without Paul, do you think anyone north of Bama would have heard of Phylis or Tammy? If he moves on to the BTN, it means more money for the conference and another civil conflict.
