The Polls (AP, Coaches, & CFP, etc.)

Georgia didn't lose to Maryland or Oklahoma State, two unranked teams. All of their losses were to teams in the final Top-10. Both Georgia and Texas have two wins over teams in the final poll (Fla and Ky; Georgia and Oklahoma). Texas may have had better wins, but they had worse losses and 4 losses to Georgia's 3, which is why I didn't have the head-to-head result make the difference.

So Georgia is better because they played Austin Peay instead of another SEC West opponent?

When are these idiots going to stop counting losses and start counting wins. Both Georgia and Texas had 10 wins against FBS teams. And Texas only had to buy one win, Georgia had to buy 3. And the tiebreaker if you need it: Texas beat the shit out of Georgia. This system is fucking embarrassing.

How can you rank UGa above Tejas when they not only beat their asses, they absolutely embarrassed and exposed their asses just like Clemson did Bama's.

For all of the "did not deserve it, not any good" talk ND suffered, at least they were a little more competitive than Bama's ass was. Not much difference really.

Gators too high. With possibly an even more craptastic O-line next year, we might actually get better in all phases but the offensive line, and have a slight step back year spearheaded with likely losses to LSU and the Mutts. Urban has you stocked for years to come. You'll beat 90% of opponents with talent.

That 10% usually plays in Iowa or Indiana and at night.

I really think they missed the boat on a couple of picks. I think we really could be better than 5, but with the coaching and QB change I get it. These polls are such a shot in the dark, some of the so called "quality" wins, will be diminished by the end of the season.
Michigan has gotten a lot of offseason love, and they are dangerous in Anne's Harbor, but they lost a lot on D and are trying to make philosophical changes on offense, so I am not sold.
Florida lost a lot from last year, but I do think they could be better than expected. I hope Texas takes the next step and can unseat Oklahoma, but it will be tough. The Pac 12 will be wide open, I see no clear cut favorite.
