If you haven’t ever read Tigerdroppings.com tonight is a good night to start. More Sports Board, SECRant and TigerRant boards. All melting hard over the supposed disrespect. Amazing reading.

Someone there posted this, after someone else wanted to go back the BCS ranking method:

LSU has beaten #9, #11 and #12 by a combined 22 points.

OSU has beaten #8, #10 and #14 by a combined 71 points.

OSU has also beaten #20 by 42 points.

Why do we need a committee?
One of them had tried to tell them A&M was better then Michigan a few of his budies told him that was a bridge too far even for them. I love how they put down Michigan and pump up Georgia though.. Cause you know common opponent ND never seems to be brought up just how Michigan got crushed by Wisconsin and Ohio State

Clearly the rankings of all other teams are designed to manufacture that argument for Ohio State. I am so grateful that these fine southern teenagers have helped me see all of the anti-SEC bias that is so prevalent in everything the committee does
I visited tigerdroppings and they are arguing that they have beaten 4 top 10 teams.

I was confused until I realized they were basing it on rankings at the time of the game - which means they are counting Texas.
You know - #9 five loss Texas.

(Who they beat by 7 BTW.)

I am kinda shocked they didnt bump LSU back to #1 after thrashing the GREATEST FIVE LOSS TEAM EVAR!

Everyone knows Texas A&M only sucks because they have to play that grinding SEC schedule.

Utah's uniforms last weekend are still fucking with my head. Every time they talk about Utah on these shows I keep thinking, why are they showing UNLV highlights?
I thought you were going to make a comment about a QB with a red #1 jersey and gray pants handing off to a running back wearing a #2 red jersey and gray pants. It could confuse some casual fans if the Utes face the Buckeyes in the CFP.

I’m not sure Georgia Jesus, Jake Fromm can throw even on that defense. Guy completes like 45% of his passes, yet the media demands we take him seriously as a top QB prospect.
You mean the Jake Fromm that is #42 in the country in passing efficiency? Granted he has a solid 7/1 TD/INT ratio and a solid completion percentage of 62.0% this year, but I like to wonder how happy Jawja is in chasing off the QB that is #4 in the country in passing efficiency, has a 68.2% completion percentage, gains almost two yards per pass attempt more than does Fromm, and has an absolutely absurd TD/INT ratio of 37/1.

"ARM TALENT!"

Which of course anyone tagged to that tends to end up a total flop (The JaMarcus Russels of the world)

Except would Fields have those #s with the mutts? I think a large part of the problem the is the oc & qb coach.

Kirby has shown he’s a slightly more competent Wil Muschamp. (*except this year)

The 5 paragraph essay about LSU being an unstoppable juggernaut is hilarious. They're a machine. Big Ten is vastly overrated, SEC is seriously underrated. Auburn, Bama, Florida, UGA and if course, team of the millennium LSU would beat every team in history. The committee wants an LSU tOSU championship but doesn't believe tOSU can beat Clemson so they've manipulated the rankings to allow MIGHTY UNBEATABLE LSU to dispatch them and they're going to put Utah at 4th to give the Bucks as easy a path as possible so they don't fuck it up....yeesh.

If that's their take, Clemson is going to be a rude awakening. I'd love to play LSU in a neutral location all day.
I almost hope they do lose to Georgia and end up 4th playing us in Tempe.
I don't relish the idea of playing them in New Orleans again.

In my personal opinion, Ohio State's ultimate CFP ranking might hinge on whether Fickell can beat Memphis in their rematch.

While it certainly won't hurt, I think LSU will need a decent margin of victory/game control advantage over OSU to take the #1 spot back. If OSU puts the game away in the first half and cruises to a multi touchdown win, I don't think anything short of a 59-0 beatdown would put LSU at #1.

Like your post, but you don’t go to anyone’s fan base to find critical thinking.

oh I get that Cinci. Joe Klatt mentions how “over the top” they are in his segment below. IMO, it’s a lot worse than the cesspool that is/was Hinneygate. Of course a lot of bad Ohio State posters are starting to make there way over there now. Hope it doesn’t get as bad as it did on SwampGas before the 2006 game. There were some horribly arrogant posters there claiming to be Ohio State fans.
