The thread where Diddy explains his social media policy (split from Z. Smith)

What's the deal with target and Coach Smith?
Is Diddy an assistant manager at target?
Only those with bonafides may respond. Thanks in advance
He is not just an assistant manager at Target, he is the assistant manager that denied his return, knowing that he would blow up on twitter and start a hell storm of backlash. THEN tOSU administrators would see the folly in their ways and finally can him. Trust me.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't recall Smith doing anything obnoxious. The worst I remember is when that clown Michigan assistant (who no one had previously heard of) decided to start something by posting a picture of himself (and his purported accomplishments) along with a picture of Smith and his. Smith responded, but wasn't the one who initiated the pissing match.
See page 3 here. It is a recurrent theme it seems. He tweeted at Guarantano and had to remove it fairly quickly.

Well fuck. We have to trust you per international internet law.

His WRs, while maybe not the most talented bunch in tOSU history when he took over, were the best blocking WR's I've ever seen in CFB, as a unit. That's 100% coaching

This. And the dude was given a former QB, former RB, and an H-Back to work with last year.

I love Coach Smith, I think he's in touch with the players and that's incredibly important in today's social media crazed world. He connects well and keeps us fresh. All the haters - Buckeye fans included - are way too sensative about the light hearted smack talk.

It's time for him to cool it on the social media smack talk and concentrate on his WR room.

This suggests that his use of social media interferes with his ability to concentrate on his WR room, and that is absolutely ridiculous.

So he can't tweet at 8 o'clock at night the third week of January when there are no WR meetings? He can't tweet while he's sitting in an airport in Tampa on a recruiting trip? How about from the Jetway? While airborne? Should he be concentrating on his WR room then?

JFC. Some of you guys need to lighten up.

Oh well I can't vouch for anything that happened 3 years ago as I didn't follow him then.

I thought he was talking about recently

He seems to be talking about some feud he had w/Target because they wouldn't accept a returned item or some such.
Complaining about Target is highly embarrassing for Ohio State... especially when they give in and refund him the next day.
