The Thread Where You Can Defend Arkansas' Inherent Beauty (or not) (probably "not")

Not necessarily the case. Arkansas has a lot of advantages to offer over Ohio. First, well, um, err. Ok, I got nothing.

Well, Ar-Kansas does have a park called "The Glory Hole."

That counts, right? Right?

Who knows what comes and goes out of that thing.

Arkansas is a beautiful state- in the north/northwest portions in particular around Fayetteville. Full of lots of pristine rivers, lakes and mountains that always catches folks off guard because they expect to see something more like Kansas for some reason. Much better for outdoor enthusiasts than the Columbus area in that regard..... and its not even close. Yes there are hicks that love to call the hogs and act like idiots but it IS a very pretty area. Anyway, back to Ash.

If it wasn't for all the Arkansaniasawians you might have a point.

And the trout fishing on the White River is excellent, but that doesn't keep me from making fun of the entire state. Yes, there is beautiful scenery, but the backwoods hicks more than outweigh the scenery.

I already acknowledged that. Ohio has its share of idiots too just like every state. Your original quote implied Arkansas had nothing to offer over Ohio which is just simply wrong. Don't be a geographical snob. I travel the US for several weeks every year in an RV and most places have at least a few things unique and special. Arkansas has quite a bit of it. To act like it doesn't is foolish.
