Just a minute ago they were Buckeye Babies at the Wexner Medical Center, now they're both at elementary school together--and basically best friends, which is nice.
I watched the '09 OSU/Indiana game on a tiny TV at the hospital with our first, then the Sweet 16 win over UC in the same place with our second a couple years later. And now my oldest already has braces!
Watching her go from not-reading to reading last year was awesome.

Son came back out for football his senior year and if week 1 is any indication its gonna be a fun season....11 tackles and 1 sack in a 13-6 win

hes #34

Sad Update:

Tore his ACL in 2nd quarter of Game #3. Out for the season. Kid was all over the field too. Had 9 tackles up to that point with all of his grandparents and Uncles in the crowd. Just sucks as he was playing very well and having fun. Football is a cruel mistress

Short lived senior year stats (He plays ILB)

game 1 = 11 tackles 1 sack
game 2 = 10 tackles 1 tfl
game 3 = 9 tackles 1 tfl
