Are eggs considered dairy or meat? 'Cause if it's the latter.....uhhh.....that ain't exactly Kosher, Dude.
Dairy based on my Grandmother's practices. I don’t keep kosher AT ALL. I had matzo on hand because I do like to make matzo brei now and again. I was just fucking around but the pictured “toast” is actually really good and something I plan to eat on the regular.

He's keeping the bacon out of frame.
Even though I don’t keep kosher, using the home skimmed pork fat left over from Instant Pot pulled pork in place of chicken fat, which I don’t have, felt too wrong to do.

Joined the pandemic sourdough starter revolution about two weeks ago, because why not? I got ample time to bake these days, so made English muffins for the first time. Incredibly simple. I’m eating BLTs and sausage, egg and cheese muffins until the prime rib hits the grill Sunday morning.

Ok, you inspired me. Made a batch over the weekend (cast iron skillet and not the oven) and made eggs benny yesterday. Not bad. Also put together a sourdough starter. Never did this at home (did it at a brewpub in the 80s) so it will be interesting to discover the feral yeasts occupying my kitchen8D

You people do realize that red star makes all yeast you could ever want... You can have champagne yeast sourdough if you want. But... Nooooo... Hippies.
