Tickets for Away games

I am putting the link for the athletic ticket offices for our four Big 10 away games. I would like to get tickets to the Michigan game. Does OSU have a student quota for that game? Do they make it available on hangonsloopy?

Meanwhile, I will be checking these websites as well to see if tickets are available. Thought it might be useful for a few people here as well.

Is it possible to buy Texas tickets from the University of Texas?

I don't know anything first hand, but I would imagine that would be like trying to buy a ticket to the IU home game through OSU. Those guys are as manic as we are and I am sure there is a long waiting line for their allocation.

Then again, maybe they have a back door like the Miami U Alumni Assoc everyone joined prior to the Fiesta Bowl.

When do OSU home games go on-sale to the general public, I thought it was Aug. 1st but im' checking their site and see nothing.
I dunno... but for what it's worth, the times I picked up a ticket last year, it was because someone here posted about a week before the game that sales were open on hangonsloopy.com, and I booked it over there post-haste. Got three home games - including The Game - and Purdue that way. Somehow I suspect it's going to be a little tougher this year, though.

Go to Funbus.com It's a charter bus that takes you to the game includes ticket and it's byob for the tailgate. The prices are pretty good to just check for vacancy. Last time I checked they still had PSU and IU I'm not to sure about Minn.

Does anyone know when student pre-conference tickets become available for pickup at the Schott? The week of August 16th comes to mind...

My friend's dad got hooked up with some tickets to the Texas game courtesy of Ernst & Young (my guess is they'll be club seats) and depending on what my tickets look like, and how many his dad gets, I might have an extra student ticket.

I think the Funbus is close to me. Is it located in Junction City?

STUDENT TICKETS ARE NOT MAILED OUT:
------------------------------
1. Student tickets will be available for pickup at the Athletic Ticket Office starting Wed., Aug. 17th, 2005.
2. Students must present a valid OSU ID for the autumn quarter and have their autumn quarter fees paid in full in order to pickup their season tickets.
3. MARRIED STUDENTS must also bring a valid marriage certificate at time of pickup.
4. ONLY THE SPOUSE WHO IS A FULL TIME AUTUMN QUARTER STUDENT CAN PICK UP THE TWO SEASON TICKETS.

got that from my e-mail

Yea I think they are. Check out their website though because I'm not sure. I do know that they pick you up in Kroger and Wal-mart parking lots you don't have to go to them. Just to the nearest location where they pick people up.
