Imo if there is a better QB video out there I would like to see it. This guy has all the throws, and is just sick on his scrambles. He finds the right lanes ala Krenzel, but with alot more speed and shiftiness. He reminds me of Phillip Rivers throwing the ball, but with a ton more arm. I say that Hornsby must be flat out sick to be considered better than Tebow. Comparing these videos alone I would rank Tebow ahead of Spiller.

Beyond the lefthanded bond, Tebow reminded me of Steve Young with his feet and his tendency to keep the downfield options alive while scrambling...he did not look to bolt immediately but found some room and still looked for the downfield throw.

Although minor, he does have some throwing mechanics that will need to be polished, but overall he is the real deal.

Very impressive.

Tebow has over 20 offers and receives over 20 letters per day. He may camp at a couple of schools, but will be on a mission trip to the phillipines most of the summer. He says his favorites would be the schools he already visiited(tOSU, Notre Dame, Georgia, S. Carolina, Tennessee, Alabama, FSU). Tebow will be going to Gainesville to meet coach Meyer on Tuesday.

From CaneSport.com...his coach says he is a great drop-back passer with scramble ability. Miami came to Tim's school. Tim and his coach plan to narrow his list by football season so as not to lead anybody on that doesn't have a shot. Tim visited Miami for the Virginia Tech game (which Miami lost). During his sophmore year, Tim had a game wheer he was sacked in the first quarter and injured his leg. Despite the pain Tim kept playing and threw for over 300 yards and ran for a 30 yard TD with 30 seconds left in the game to tie the score. His team lost on a last second FG, but when Tim was taken afterwards for x-rays, he learned he had done all of this on a jagged broken leg.

USC Jumps On Hot Quarterback - Spartanburg Herald Journal

USC Jumps On Hot Quarterback
By Phil Kornblut

QB Tim Tebow (6-3 225) of St. Augustine, FL had an amazing junior season breaking the state of Florida total offense record, single season passing record and total touchdown record. The lefthander passed for 4800 yards and 46 touchdowns and rushed for 1500 yards and 26 touchdowns. "He has the ability to scramble and is a good drop back passer," said his coach Craig Howard. "He makes big plays off the scramble. He scrambles to throw the ball, not to run it." Tebow started to show his skills as a sophomore when he passed for 30 touchdowns and rushed for 19. He is also a basketball and baseball player. And he is home schooled. Howard said Tebow has over 40 offers at this point. USC is among them. Gamecock recruiter Rick Stockstill was by the school last week to pick up film on Tebo. Clemson has shown interest but has not offered which his coach says is surprising because they run an offense similar to what Clemson has done in the past, particularly when Rich Rodriguez was the offensive coordinator. Louisville was the first school to offer. Among the others are Michigan, Florida, Florida State and Georgia. Howard said Tebow has not started to narrow his list and does not have favorites. This summer Tebow will spend a month with his father on a Baptist mission in the Philippines. And his coach feels he'll get an invitation to the Elite 11 quarterback camp.

USC and Clemson are also showing interest in WR Ryan Ellis (6-3 190) of St. Augustine. He caught 70 passes for 1488 yards and 17 touchdowns last season. He's also a hurdler in track. Other schools showing early interest include Miami, Ohio State and Alabama. He has not been offered.

Did you guys seen in the BSB/Rea chat that someone posted OSU is reportedly off his list?

This early a lot of kids will mention different schools every time they are asked. It generally doesn't mean anything - just who happened to pop into their heads. But we always have posters parsing sentences even this early in the process.
