i would do one of the following things.

  1. become boss so you don't have to worry about others.
  2. position your computer so that nobody can walk up on you and see your screen without having time to deal with it
  3. work instead of surf
  4. use a text only browser so no pics show up at all
  5. add my server to your hosts file so no material from my server will ever show up on your computer
  6. turn off sigs OR
  7. ignore me and all my posts via the software
you have the power to fix your own problems. any of those suggestions should remedy your problem without intruding on others who enjoy the picture and the freedom to post what they like.

i agree completely. saying a kid sucks or isn't scholarship material or is a reach for a school like OSU is crossing a line. that line to be clear is possibly negatively influencing a recruit away from our school when the coaches may in fact want that kid in a major way.

insightful critique is always appreciated in my book.

Your point being what? If you must know, I specifically put that in there TODAY to be used for someone special trolling the site.....i.e. scUM graduate

BUT, like I said, if you, me, or anyone else doesn't like sigs......they can just disable the option.

Now I don't have to scroll down through 800 pages of pictures the size of montana!!! it's beautiful.

Dude,

I didn't know there was an option to turn off sigs. I now know that.

As far as work don't surf, I'm sure I could make that same comment to you. I like to check the site at lunch and during study hall when my grading and planning are done.

Second, I'm a teacher and am required to have my computer facing the room in case a student gets on my comp. and gets on inappropriate sites. It allows me to monitor their use.

Third, sorry I'm not as successful as you and am not my own boss.

I wasn't being a jerk, I asked politely and others showed me how to take care of the situation.

relax thump, nothing personal intended. i was just giving you a choice of options so that you could fix your own problem. you know, teach one to fish instead of giving them a fish to eat. i am glad one worked out for you.

as for work not surf, i never surf the net on company time. this is the only IP number i have ever been on this site with ever and i doubt it will change until i move again or switch providers. i am on vacation yet again today. i have a bunch to use before year end still.

as for being boss, everyone has a boss. i got like twenty of them it seems. you know what every one of my bosses has bosses too. it is the way of the world.

as for being a teacher, i didn't know that you were and i never imagined that you couldn't spin your computer away from the door. again it was only an option for you to consider. i guess it wasn't a realistic option in your scenario but an option all the same.

success has many different definitions and i wouldn't say being a teacher isn't being a success. i myself have thought about becoming a teacher/coach before.

Since when did you have to get off your butt to change settings on a computer? I thought it required sitting on your butt in front of a computer?

I admit not knowing that was an option but dang when you go into to the edit options there are TON of things to choose from.

You're starting to sound like Tibor.

not everyone believes in jesus and i find your attempts a forcing religion onto these forums offensive.....
