2023 TN QB Brock Glenn (Ohio St. decommit; Florida St. Signee)

GLENN PUTS DEFENDERS ON SKATES

In the latest example of a “how in the heck did this ever turn into a touchdown” clip, Glenn made five defenders miss and weaved his way into the end zone during the first half of Lausanne Collegiate School’s (Memphis, Tennessee) 40-0 victory over Greenville Christian. Glenn finished with six carries on the day for 107 rushing yards with two touchdowns while completing 5 of 13 passes for 87 yards and a touchdown.

No doubt sees a clearer path to the field in Tallahassee. Sayonara, Brock.

Yea especially if Jordan Travis decides to shoot for the NFL, he's already in his 5th year in college so he may very well do so even though he still has eligibility. FSUs depth chart is extremely lackluster behind Travis currently and they don't have a elite QB on board for 2024.

I honestly forgot about this commitment. He felt like a gap filler but admittedly I haven’t paid any attention to him. Seems it was mutual or openly discussed as the SD QB was recently announced as a visitor for the Game. Wish him the best of luck in Tallahassee…

Well, he committed knowing darn well that Raiola was coming in and that we had a loaded QB room. Not sure what changed unless maybe the staff likes the SD kid more? Whatever the case is, I am not at all worried about this one. Good luck at FSU and we'll be just fine.

And you never know what goes on behind the scenes with NIL deals.

Have no doubt that teams have used Raiola coming in as a deterrent to him, and Brock knowing he wouldn't 'stand up' to the competition. Heck, being a QB requires a large ego and self confidence, but you gotta have a dose of reality thrown in as well. AND, they all wanna play, and sooner than later, because every elite team is going to recruit the 'next great thing' at qb, knowing that not everyone pans out. Having said that, don't know what he's facing at Free Shoes University in the way of competition. So, maybe NIL was the tie-breaker. That's 'crooting, no?
