2023 TN TE Ty Lockwood (Ohio St. Decommit; Alabama Signee)

Source? Not doubting you, just curious. And I would be surprised on this one, Lockwood was actively recruiting for us for quite some time and seemed very firm. But if he does defect, yes, glad we have Thurman.
Sorry, source is Alex Gleitman. Said it himself and Tony Gerdeman agreed

Have we ever had our first class commit become a D commit before? Kyle Kalis maybe
Danny Clark

Danny Clark, recruiting realities and when an Ohio State tattoo isn't enough
Clark was a high school sophomore when he decided to have the scarlet Block O tattooed on his right arm. Not just the O for the Ohio State, but the date of Dec. 13, 2013 as well, the day Clark as a high school freshman committed to play football for the Buckeyes.

The tattoo remains. The commitment does not.

Count me as one that doesn’t see this as a bad thing. It’s bad with the lack of commits and the recent decommit, but this is an adequate TE in a class with 3 of the top 10 WR’s. I thought he wanted to be a buckeye which is the only reason this sucks

Thank you for the follow up, sucks to hear this mostly because he seemed like one of the leaders in the class in terms of recruiting for us. I know it is Bama, lack of using TEs in the passing game, etc., but it is surprising because Ty seemed as solid as it gets.
