Toledo 13, TSUN 10 (final)

Unbelievable. Just unbelievable.

Do you mean to tell me that there is such a dearth of talent at UM that they can't handle a bottom of the league MAC team? This is all on the coaches. Transition or no transition there is no way that a Michigan football team should lose this game.

RichRod is such a good coach that he can only run one type of fucking offense?
"I'm going to sit here and try and pound a square peg (Threet and Sheridan) into a round hole (the system). I'm going to run off my talented QB (Mallett) and my All Big 10 lineman because I'm a dick. Then I'm not going to move one of my RBs or WRs to QB so that I may be able to actually run this gimicky piece of shit offense. I'm going to put two statues back there who can't run, but make up for it by NOT being able to throw. Oh yeah, I'm a fucking genius!!!!"

I'm sorry, but I'm one of those crazies that wants the conference to be respected nationally. UM is a fucking embarrassment right now and they will continue to be for the foreseeable future. This team may not win another game. Transition? This is a complete and utter disaster for UM fans.

Toledo got ape-fucked by Ball State last week...Michigan couldn't even win a division of the MAC this year.

That's not a fair statement. If you put 'em in the MAC East, they'd be tied for first at 1-1 with Bowling Green. :slappy:

MAC EAST

Bowling Green 1-1 3-3
M*ch*g*n 1-1 2-4
Akron 1-2 3-4
Buffalo 1-2 2-4
Ohio 1-2 2-5
Temple 1-3 2-5
Miami (OH) 0-2 1-5
Kent State 0-3 1-6

Yeah but they wouldn't just walk into upstate NY or the Glass Bowl and come out with a win...and of course if they were playing them at home, well, it would be a guaranteed loss...

At least Ball State is unbeaten. Florida International beat Toledo 35-16 two weeks ago and they're 2-3 playing in the Sun Belt.

Question: After what has happened the past few weeks...is Wisconsin one of the worst teams in the Big Ten???

I still think Michigan is the worst team in the Big Ten honestly. It's a shame they didn't lose to Wisconsin. But...now they are playing like we all knew they would.

I still think Indiana is the worst team in the Big Ten, followed closely by Michigan and Wisconsin, with Purdue right there in the conversation. However, out of those teams, if you ask which might still finish with a 3-5 conference mark, I think Wisconsin is the likliest of the bunch to manage that.

Which further proves the absolute worthlessness of early season polls.

Wisconsin is not that bad of team. hey could easily end up 4-4 in the conference. They should beat: Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, and Minnesoata. In addition to giving Michigan State a tough game. I'd still put them in the top half of the Big 10.

1. Penn State
2. Ohio State
3. Michigan State
4. Wisconsin
5. (maybe) Northwestern or Illinois

The bottom half:

7. Minnesota
8. Purdue
9. Iowa
10. Michigan
11. Indiana

Seriously? After Minnesota just beat Illinois and Wisconsin got buried and quit at halftime this weekend? Wow. I think Iowa can beat them too, depending on if they play and where the game would be. Wisconsin would have to finish 4-1 to go 4-4, and they've already dropped 2 home games. I just don't think they can do it.

2 Toledo players arrested after win over Michigan

FREE PRESS NEWS SERVICES • October 14, 2008

TOLEDO — Two Toledo players arrested outside a bar just hours after the Rockets beat Michigan on Saturday will not start this weekend against Northern Illinois.

One of the players, Rockets wide receiver Nick Moore, caught 20 passes for 162 yards in the 13-10 victory over the Wolverines. It was the most catches ever against a Michigan team.

Defensive end Albertson Alexandre also will be out of the starting lineup after Toledo coach Tom Amstutz said today that both players had violated team rules.

Amstutz said the two also will be disciplined internally.

A police report says that officers used mace to break up a crowd of as many as 40 people outside a Toledo bar.

Moore was charged with disorderly conduct because police say the senior and team captain was fighting with another man.

Alexandre was charged with obstructing official business, also a misdemeanor. The police report says he had ignored commands to leave the area.
