So, our friend Tommy actually did an excellent job during the Final Four analyzing the games. He looks relieved in his public appearances since the firing. Anyway, he was just on a podcast (Pardon My Take, hilariously recommended). He was absolutely great and said he still wants to coach but plans on going the TV route for this next year while waiting for a job at a championship level program.

I'll just leave the rest unspoken as to not incite a riot.

Report: Former IU coach Tom Crean discusses Pitt coaching job
Indianapolis Star-18 hours ago
Tom Crean didn't pursue a coaching job this season, but he said he wouldn't be off the sideline for long. It appears the former Indiana University coach is getting back out there. ESPN reported Wednesday he has discussed the open position at Pittsburgh. Crean has analyzed games for ESPN this season.

He definitely wants to get back into coaching. Lucky for him he'll have a big selection.

Hated him as a coach, but he has shown remarkable knowledge as an analyst. Really surprised me. Weird how he can't translate it on the sideline.
I think the IU job was too big for him. Wouldn't be surprised to see him find some measure of success at a place like Pitt or UGA.
