Game Thread tOSU 33, Indiana 14 (Oct 3, 7 pm ET, BTN)

I feel like I could make pretty much the same posts as the last couple weeks about the game. I'll at least make this one shorter.

Happy for the win - Go Bucks!

Defense is awesome - thought they definitely missed Coleman in the first half, but they adjusted well after the TD drive. Doss got shut down after that.

Terrelle made some very questionable decisions out there that he can get away with because he's playing Indiana or because his awesome teammates bail him out. Needs to get better, and he will eventually. Would be nice to start seeing some incremental improvement from week to week.

Did I cover everything?

That just about covers it.

Go Bucks.

Personally I think TP is due for a breakout game where he gets over that "hump" and starts playing to his true potential. Troy Smith did, now it's about time for TP to do so as well.

Heh usually it is the "Indiana game" that heals all wounds...

Glen Mason was pretty good despite his constant Ahia State's. Man coached here you'd think he could pronounce ohio properly

He also played here and coached two years at Kent State, so he has plenty of time in the state...also, is there a reason why you capitalized "Ahia" but didn't capitalize "ohio"?

Is there going to be any more discussion about the second half of the Indiana game? If not, we can just split off all the QB discussion shit and close down this thread...

BB73 edit - that discussion was moved into the Pryor thread.

Brandon Saine...best runningback by far on the team

Zach Boren...this kid may be the most improved player...nice blocking and nice catch. Michigan fans can eat shit if they think his offer was charity because of his brother and then take seconds if they think he is MAC talent. This kid is a stud.

Robert Rose...its nice to see you playing healthy...real nice.

Thoma...damn kid you can pin teams inside the 10 with your punts.

Anderson Russell maybe the best game I have seen you play.

Ross Homan played like a madman.

Duron Carter lit up some DB's on Pryor runs...This kid is a future AA...great hands and even better blocker.

This game should have been 40+ to 7. The defense looked great and the offense looks improved. We still have a ways to go. I did see some great holes by the OL.

Although I've been saying for a long time that if Saine got completely healthy he'd challenge for, or even take over, the starting spot from Herron (there's a reason why he wasn't redshirted his freshman year while Herron was), I'll say he's not "by far" better than Herron. I'd rate Saine as 1A and Herron 1B...

Mili I do think Saine is alot better for a few reasons.

Saine has more power...more speed...and doesn't take choppy step like Herron.

Alot of times Herron could bust big runs but he gets ankle tackled because he takes choppy steps...he needs to have higher kneee action when he runs.

I like them both but Saine looked incredible tonight. I think he would have gotten more carries but the coaches probably wanted to take it easy because Wisky is coming to town next week.

It's nice to have a defense so good that you get angry when the other team cuts the lead to 19 as the clock runs out. Russell stepped up big this game and took over where Coleman left off in the turnover category. Offense looked good. Saine ran great, and the receivers showed the skill we knew they could. I would like to cut down on the turnovers. Glad to see Pettrey got his misses out of the way for the year. Glad to hear the O-H-I-O! coming from the stadium

OT: Final Four QB's from NFL Playoffs last year
Flacco - Delaware
Warner - Northern Iowa
Mcnabb - Syracuse
Big Ben - Miami (OH)

Not alot of big name schools there

What i absolutely love also is that we are flying under the radar. We are solid at 9 but will surely at least move up to 8 after the Oklahoma loss and the National media hasn't said much about us and we will finish our season on a stretch that will impress voters. I am never one to get ahead of myself and i also see that our offense needs some fine tuning, but the scary thing is come November we may be making a strong push for the title game.

1-Florida-Still have games @(4)LSU and Vs (18)Georgia, Also Probably (3)Alabama in SEC title game.
2-Texas- Games Vs (?)Oklahoma, @ (14)OK state and (18)Kansas
3-Alabama- Games @ (21)Ole Miss, (4)LSU and (1)Florida in SEC title game.
4-LSU- Games vs (1)Florida, @ (3)Alabama, @ (21)Ole Miss
5-Boise State-I think they hit their ceiling at 5
6-Va Tech-Struggled against Duke, all they really have left is @ (25)Georgia Tech
7-USC- @ Notre Dame, @ (16)Oregon
8-OSU- @ (15)Penn St, (13)Iowa, @ (22)TSUN

Ok ok now don't give me a hard time. I know there are a lot of thing our team needs to improve on and a lot of time in between now and November. I was just thinking about how tough the teams ahead of us schedule is. Anyways :oh::io:
Great Game vs Indiana
