IMO the Bears are difficult to figure out. At times they looked very good vs Northwestern. They took away NW's short yardage running game, especially in the red zone, but they gave up a scary number of big plays. NW had to move the pocket to pass and even then Cal put pressure on the passer. Muhammed has some serious jets on punts and kickoffs. Lucky for us, the special teams seem to be much better on kick coverage than last year.

The Cal bears running back "Bigelow" really did a number on the Buckeyes last year and I hope we can contain him a lot better. For some reason I am concerned about this game and it seems they will be a lot quicker coming off the line against our defensive line. Hope I am wrong here.

We are tackling much better this year than we did last year. We also have a bit more speed on Defense this year than we did last year. Those two things alone will be difference makers in containing the Bears Offense. Our LB corp is moving to the ball and Grant is starting to find his niche in the Middle. I am expecting a BIG game out of Curtis Grant this Saturday.

I am soooooooooooooooooo looking forward to seeing this game in person. It's not often that my beloved BUCKS find their way to California. Only about a 5 hr. drive from where I live in Humboldt County, CA. along the beautiful Redwood Coast. GO BUCKS!!!

I like what I've seen out of Grant this year too, but I don't expect him to get as many snaps as he has had the first two weeks. We could see more dime sets than nickel sets this week due to Cal's offense.
