Well, then all this worrying about making 6 games or not becomes moot, as the B1G (And PAC, and everyone else) will be free to modify its rules and meet any extended timelines.

Does anyone really expect the B1G to do that though? Considering how theyve already botched all of this? B1G hire ups are probably cool with saying "told you so, shouldnt have even started" and hanging it up.

I have no idea. I'm sure as fuck not gonna waste my time speculating about the worst possible future though. You guys seem to have that covered.

It was bound to happen to us at some point. Guys going off about Heismans and playoffs and I'm just hoping to see the Bucks play Indiana next week.

Two months down the road may as well be 20 months in this crazy year.

One look around the country with an eye on the mass game cancellations due to the COVID-19 pandemic explains why some Buckeyes fans would like their favorite team to respond to Saturday’s game against Maryland getting canned by lining up a short-notice contest with somebody else.

Prominent college football programs across the country are in a similar position without a game due to a coronavirus outbreak happening to the teams they were supposed to face. There’s no lack of enticing fantasy matchups against teams suddenly without opponents.

But, due to Big Ten rules, it’s not happening. Even if the Buckeyes wanted to consider that route this late in the week, they know they’d have no shot. Why? Nebraska already tried it.
