Game Thread tOSU at Minnesota, Sat Oct 30, 8:00 ET, ABC Regional

While the play-by-play and color was not particularly insightful, I appreciated the fact that Craig James was especially complimentary to the Buckeyes and TP. However, everything Ray Bentley said was a complete waste of airtime, making him the worst sideline reporter in recent memory. If that's the best ESPN can do, then get a hot babe to do that job.

Eh, while watching the replay right now (couldn't hear commentary from the bar last night) Craig James has said nothing but positive things for Ohio State as a team, program, and it's players.

The retard on the sideline is, well just that...a retard.

On the BCS countdown show tonight he even threw out TP's name during the Heisman discussion. He is prolly just sucking up to the biggest fan base in college football since he knows his image took a hit with the Leach fiasco.

Watching the game for the first time and the first drive for Minnesota makes my stomach churn.

Don't worry, there are really 2 Adam Webers that play for the Gophers. The other Adam Weber gets dominated on the rest of the game.

But it shows what a really good QB could do to an injured defense (specifically secondary). Good thing we don't play a lot of those.

I personally do not share that confidence

One way to make that secondary a whole lot better..... Have the D-Line dominate or apply constant pressure.

I sure hope your confidence is correct in 3 weeks. Go Bucks

My line of thinking as well. The secondary is a liability with all the injuries. Not much we can do about that. The DL can be dominant and will need to be.

Stanzi and that Iowa offense will be a huge challenge. Hope our DL is up for that.

I have confidence in the DL, it's the secondary that scares me.

I'm almost certain the defense gives up at least 17. I like our chances in a semi-shootout though.

I just hope Rolle keeps his lights out attitude he exhibited after his injury.

Why don't we wait until the week of the Iowa game before getting all wrapped up in it...we have a bye week to rest and then a home game with Penn State first. By the way, this is the Minnesota game thread...
