but yea, there are 2 places I am always nervous about playing at, and that's Purdue and Northwestern..

I haven't been nervous about playing at NW since the 2004 loss there...Tressel set those clowns straight after that and Fickell has been on the staff all that time.

2005: 48-7
2006: 54-10 (@ NW)
2007: 58-7
2008: 45-10 (@ NW)

West Lafayette has been rough on the Bucks. I don't see this team as one that will go in there all high and mighty like the years that they struggled. The slow start in a noon kick against Indiana will help. I see the defense getting back at it this weekend. And the running game will again be way to much for the boilers.

35-7.

Sets up the final 2 to get into the Big Ten Championship game. State Penn loses this week to the Cornholers.

Edit- Just re-checked the stats. 2-3 at Purdue since 2000. 4-0 at home. Troy struggled there, TP struggled there, but I don't believe Braxton will.

Purdue will keep it close early, but their defense won't be able to stop Ohio State's rushing attack. Purdue puts up 7 points late in the fourth to make it look more respectable.
Prediction-- Purdue 17 Ohio State 31

Had OSU blown out Indiana last week, I'd be a bit more concerned about the players looking ahead to State Penn. The Indiana game was a wake-up call, and I expect preparation for this game to be taken a lot more seriously. I will point out that it's a good thing we played Indiana at home following that huge win, rather than Purdue on the road. Could've been a disaster... but that's what you expect from young teams. Looking at the Boilers' schedule, this is their last chance to make a statement this season (they finish up with Iowa and Indiana), and they'll be playing their asses off. I think it stays close for a little bit, but OSU takes firm control by the time the 4th quarter rolls around.

Buckeyes - 26
Boilers - 10

In their last two games, the Purdue defense has given up 535 yards (339 rushing) and 36 points to Michigan, and 605 yards (364 rushing) and 62 points to Wisconsin. The only thing I'm concerned about is the number of sacks (9) we gave up Saturday against Indiana, who was just about the shittiest defense in the country going into the game...we were very vulnerable to LB blitzes.

Now we're back to, what plays seem to work when you know LB blitzes are coming?

Keys to Victory: Purdue

Don't turn the ball over.

I think we can all remember what happened the last time we traveled to West Lafayette with a young QB under center and struggled holding onto the ball.

Unfortunately, in order to facilitate no turnovers, it is a strong possibility that we are going to see an offensive game plan straight out of the 1950s.

Fans hoping to see Braxton Miller light it up through the air are going to be largely disappointed once again.
