Game Thread tOSU @ Indiana, Sat 10/3 @ 3:30p ET, ABC/ESPN2

Indiana allowing 499 yards and 32 Points per game. Wake Forest, West Kentucky, FIU and Southern Illinois were their opponents

One would think the offense should be able to put up some major points.
One would think that about a WMU team that allowed 43 and 52 to Georgia Southern and Murray State, but here we are.

WKU is understandable they have produced video game numbers lately. Other teams Hoosier has faced I don't see any reason we shouldn't be able to do the same. But I agree with the post above as well.

This is their championship game. They will bring their best.
We've always been everyone Championship game... Like someone said lately we are the Yankee's of college football.

I'm interested to see if we come out and destruct IU's defense like we SHOULD. Like you all pointed out four lesser opponents gave IU trouble with their offenses and in theory so should we, but so far we seem to not be doing as well when it comes to comparing how bad we beat teams. With IU's starting DT Lathum (who from my recollection is actually very good) out indefinitely we need to make a statement here and IMO I think we do because I feel a sense of settling now that Cardale is they guy as well as now that Beck is in the Booth more involved (like Herman).

I expect our defense to struggle with the run again but to stiffen in the Redzone (mainly due to our stubbornness with bringing safeties into the box), and I expect our sharpest offensive output yet. I'm thinking 52-17 with over 600 yards of offense because two players on our offense have IU's number (Marshall and Braxton)

Darius Latham (DL) suspended again, indefinitely this time (missed the first game). Big loss on their front and already suspect defense.

My other saving grace is like others I think this team likes the doubted/on-the-road role. Hoping it clicks once more because the Hoosiers have been a test to Meyer's teams and this year may be one of their best ones yet.*
