He was projected to hand off to Mike Cox. Beaver decommitted, and cox enrolled but later transferred before making it to the NFL.

That was the same class as Jim Hatt. He tore something in game action, got pulled and then they just threw him away, never to be seen again.

HUGE loss for them, he was a true stopper. It cost them the game, as he was the only answer they had against Insemi Nation. They got knocked up and down the field. It ended their season and they had to live with it for nine months until the next season started.

One can make a mistake focusing too closely at recruiting rankings - unless it makes Michigan look bad.

As of today OSU has TEN recruits who are rated in the TOP SIX at their position.
Five more are rated in the top twenty at their position.

Michigan has zero top six and three top twenty.

Danny Clark - our lowest rated position player - would be their sixth best recruit based on position ranking.

Last year Michigan landed 11 players in the top 20 position-wise. With 18 spots spoken for they are going to be hard pressed to come close to that number. Still the Michigan fans brag about Harbaugh's recruiting prowess.

Is this what comes of sleeping with your recruits?
