2020 tOSU Recruiting Discussion

  • 2020 OL Reece Atteberry (Aurora, CO) did not make his official visit to Ohio State. Looks like he'll end up at Notre Dame.
  • 2020 DL Ty Hamilton (Pickerington North) has cancelled his official visit to Michigan, which had been scheduled for next weekend. Looks like the bananas are warming up.
  • 2020 DL Vernon Broughton (Houston, TX) had a good official visit to Ohio State, but remains a Texas lean.
  • 2020 RB Bijan Robinson (Tucson, AZ) made his official visit to Ohio State (with his mother and grandparents) and had a "great" time. Expect more comments from Bijan after he returns home.
  • 2020 RB Blake Corum (Baltimore, MD) is high on the Buckeyes' big board, and could be the second RB in this class. At 5-foot-9, 180-pounds, he would presumably be more of an all-purpose back than a true tailback. Michigan will likely be the main competition here.
  • 2020 QB Kade Renfro (Stephenville, TX) is currently committed to North Texas. He camped at Ohio State this weekend and could earn an offer as the second QB in this class, with the blessing of current QB verbal Jack Miller.

Fat hoke has his players eating while ours are working out.
Pulled directly from the article:
The details surrounding the event, like when the barbecue lunch or dinner will be taking place and whether the camp will take place inside the Shoe, are unclear, except that the camp is scheduled to take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Reading is hard.

I was thinking about the real possibility we miss out on both Milton and Robinson this year, so I did a little research.

The last five star RB Ohio State brought in was Beanie Wells fourteen years ago. Fourteen years. Since then we’ve only had three actual RB’s rated higher than 50th in the country (Berry, Rod Smith and Dobbins).

In summary: no longer worried about RB recruiting.

Zeke wasn’t even top 50?

RB seems to be one of those positions where you can find good value all over the board much like in the NFL... just odd that one position where ratings dont really seem to matter at all
