2021 tOSU Recruiting Discussion

So just looking at the last two classes and the potential of what Ohio State might have, this could be the starters in a few years from now:

QB - CJ Stroud
RB - Trey Henderson
WR - Julian Fleming
WR - Jaxon Smith-Njigba
WR - Gee Scott
TE - Joe Royer
OT - Paris Johnson
OG - Donovan Jackson
OC - Luke Wypler
OG - Ben Christman
OT - JC Latham

DE - Jack Sawyer
DT - Mike Hall
DT - Darrion Henry
DE - Demeioun Robinson
LB - Cody Simon
LB - Reid Carrico
LB - Kourt Williams
CB - JK Johnson
SS - Lathan Ransom
FS - Ryan Watts
CB - Lejond Cavazos

There’s obviously some positions that could go to someone else vs the player I chose. And Robinson seems to be the only “reach” I have. If that offense lives up to potential, it’ll challenge for best ever!

I know he doesn't need it but... Hartline should be our highest paid assistant.
It's getting close that's for sure... lights out recruiter and the production matches too.
LJ has produced 3 top 3 picks on the DL, and many other studs over decades.
Kerry has produced a gaggle of first round picks.

Brian is a rising star, but that's a high bar to clear. Now if he's underpaid in 1-2 years , that's another story. I can't imagine them getting to that point though. He's going to rise in the ranks here or elsewhere.

I have decided that think that social isolation might be okay, after all.

Farrell's take (J.T. Tuimoloau): Ohio State appears to be the leader here according to most while USC and Oregon try to sell him on staying west. However I think his home state school, Washington, will be the biggest threat to the Buckeyes. But right now I have Ohio State.
Farrell's take (Tunmise Adeleye): The Gators have made a move but Ohio State has a solid lead here in my opinion and he could commit any time
Farrell’s take (Damon Payne): I like the Buckeyes here even though Payne seems a long way from cutting his list or announcing a decision. Michigan will be in the mix for sure and it could come down to a Big Ten battle but, as of today, I have the Buckeyes.
Farrell’s take (Tywone Malone): I’m going with the Buckeyes here as they are just recruiting at the next level compared to everyone else.
Those four would be an absolutely epic DL haul on their own, now add in Jack Sawyer and Michael Hall....

It's probably not realistic for Ohio State to get six DL in this class - especially those six - but give me Sawyer, Hall, Adeleye, Tuimoloau and I'll be ecstatic. Plus there might still be room for a local developmental prospect (Najee Story?).

Farrell also has Ohio State leading for Emeke Egbuka:
Farrell's take: Egbuka appears to be taking his time, but he has been linked to Ohio State for many reasons, and the Buckeyes would be the team I’d pick for him now. Oregon and Washington have a chance, and of course teams like Clemson, LSU and Oklahoma will be in the mix, but don’t bet against Ryan Day here.

I just don’t see Ohio State taking 4 DT’s . Could be wrong. I have always had 3 in this class, though. But if they do take 4, I’d think Bradley over Payne.
