Avery Henry committed.
Doesn't get my loins tingling but I will say he is an impressive specimen.
I have a soft spot for late risers in this environment where kids are targeted so early.

He looks like a damn body builder and is a handsome devil.

I know the prevailing belief is to ‘trust the coaches’. but the kid had an offer from Lake Erie College.
That is a tough sell to the fan base and is the kind of recruit we point and laugh at scUM for signing.
I will do my best to trust the coaches here but its a tough sell for me.

Have to agree. All due respect to the kid, but he seems like another OT where you're basically hoping to hit the lotto. Just too many of those guys recently.

He also has offers from Syracuse, West Virginia, and Iowa State.

Pretty weird to mention Lake Erie College (who should and does pretty much offer everybody) but not mention those.

The question should be: does this mean with the transfers we have had that the staff sees 4 on the OL for this class instead of 3? I sure hope so and they are holding the last spot for one of the big names still out there. If the staff knows something we don’t and the 4th spot will be filled by one of the bigger fish then the Henry commitment looks entirely different.

Eh I think there’s a difference that our coaches have kind of earned a sort of benefit of the doubt here. Considering most of the class are upper end guys. When it comes to Michigan the majority of their class are reaches.

It's been reported by Jeremy Birmingham that they will go to four. The two most likely options are Carson Hinzman and Earnest Greene, both of whom are visiting on the 30th.

If you look at Tshabola and Fitzpatrick as the first option Tackles for this class (they weren't but lets just pretend they were) then Henry is the 3rd OT and the development project.

If you land a Green/Hinzman as the first choice interior guy then it doesn't look awful.

Let's see who the 4th guy is.
