Priority one will be to stop the sparty running game. They have a couple transfer RB's they'll be breaking in...Defense will need to show its muscle. I'm also thinking we see the Special teams unit come up with that elusive score to put the good guys over the top.

Tuck will have his group fired up after last year's ass whooping...revenge game for these guys will have them a little extra juiced.

No way tOSU can or will come in to this game over confident. Step on throats and send the message how we don't give a damn for the whole state...fuck em.

College football teams poised to cause chaos in 2022

MICHIGAN STATE SPARTANS

Expectations are a lot higher in East Lansing following a breakout 11-2 showing last season. It is fair to expect some regression given what the Spartans lost in the offseason, but this is still a team that can make some noise. All-star running back Kenneth Walker is gone, but Mel Tucker — often dubbed the king of the transfer portal — dipped into the free agent market to nab a pair of backs in Colorado’s Jarek Broussard and Wisconsin’s Jalen Berger. Those two should complement each other well with Broussard’s versatility and Berger’s size and power. The Spartans also answered major questions at linebacker by adding Mississippi State’s Aaron Brule and UNLV’s Jacoby Windmon. Michigan State has plenty of opportunity to cause a ruckus with playoff hopefuls Michigan and Ohio State on the schedule.

A trap game is defined in a variety of ways, but it essentially boils down to a high-ranked team playing in a game that everyone expects them to win against a far lesser opponent (not necessarily a losing team)

Trap game?

Although the spread is a large one and Ohio State is a heavy favorite once again, the total opens at 61.5 points.

The bookies are predicting a score of (something very close to) Ohio State 42 - Sparty 19.

Update: Another point spread of 24.5

DraftKings Sportsbook odds: Ohio State -24.5
Their o/u is 62.

No way in hell they keep it that close unless it's an ice storm or a monsoon. I expect JSN back this week also.
