tOSU vs BYE, Sat. Oct 16th (High Street History)

Nice week to get healthy and for me to get one last back packing trip in before it gets freezing. Really wish we found a way to beat Oregon because I love how the rest of the season sets up. Bye, decent opponent to get back into the swing of things, tough PSU game but at home, couple (what should be) comfortable wins, then a tough stretch of the teams up north.

Comes at the perfect time IMHO. Gives Garrett, Munford, Brown and others time to heal up. Gives Stroud more time to rest his shoulder. Really excited where the team is right now. Maybe they will use a day to work on the _ichigan game. ;-)
Perfectly at the half way point which sets up great. Hopefully we can continue to blow teams out so we can continue to play our depth.

I’m glad we have Indiana first. Hope that game is a little challenging. All my concerns are evaporating. The 2014 team showed a killer instinct. Does the team have that? Watched game with an Iowa fan and Illinois fan.. their take leave the starters in longer..to build stamina and that killer instinct. I said we need more work for our youngsters and we run afraid of injury. I don’t but some do.

What your friends fail to understand is we won't run up the score too drastically and if we keep our starters in that hurts the next few years development. We need these blowout games and imo them being out sooner is better.

Both these guys played football hated when coach took them out for playing good to people that hadn’t earned taking plays from them.

When I was a freshman living in Morrill Tower there was a free concert on the lawn next to Drake Union by a band that included Ric Ocasek’s son who was a student at CCAD at the time. (RIP Ben. RIP Ric.)
