Game Thread tOSU vs. Cincinnati, Sept 27th @ 6pm ET, BTN

I'm actually glad the Juaggalos showed they have a pulse last week, especially in the passing game. This young secondary is very talented but just need to keep improving and playing a solid passing attack in Week 3 will get them up to speed. Should be a good test for our defense and an opportunity to grow. Once again, I will not be making any predictions this week so I don't jinx anything.

hell, my wife brought a stray puppy home the Thursday before the VT game..

cute dog, but guess who was't allowed in the house last Saturday..
and guess who isnt allowed in next Saturday..

she said its okay though, she'll just go shopping.

Normally I'm a miller lite drinker on Saturdays, had PBR during Vt game, safe to say I didn't go cheap this weekend nor do I plan to the rest of the year.

Gotta love a QB named "Gunner". I think he will be gunning on the 27th with a lot of short - intermediate stuff to avoid getting dismembered by Bosa and friends, but he will take his shots deep on occasion. Best thing about this game is that I will finally get some good indication of what kind of pass defense the Buckeyes have. Navy passed the ball 4 times, and vs. Tech the boys gave up some and made some good plays. The last drive of the first half I don't hold against the players because Ash had them in soft zone which allowed Tech to go down and score in a handful of plays - which sounds oddly familiar for some reason. The Kent State game just showed us that OSU can dominate an over-matched team. After watching that abomination last year, it probably won't take that much to impress me. Just getting off the field a few times on 3rd down will probably have me doing splits and back flips. But I should know by the end of that game whether my nausea will go away or continue.

CINCINNATI (WKRC) -- A party last weekend, near the UC campus, ended with at least three Bearcat football players in trouble with police.

Cincinnati Police and UC Police responded to a shots fired call to a house on Lyons Street early Sunday morning. One UC player was arrested for running from police. Two others were cited for having outstanding misdemeanor drug warrants. [cont.]
