I believe 100% that the comparison of what Michigan did to this team vs what we did is ridiculous to make since the only person who did anything against us did not play against Michigan. That's not making any excuse for anything, it's not extrapolating what he will do the remainder of the season, it's a fact that is inarguable.....except apparently by you and Mili.

Except that it takes 11 people to make an offense...of and the backups. So it never was the whole offense, just a bullshit argument done to make you feel better. What is also inarguable, is that we lined up against MD this week, just as TTUN did last week. The results are now in. Excuse away though. I'm done with ya.

And while you're looking for that mythical excuse I made, answer me this question. Why would the person who has been the most negative about this team less than a week ago need to make excuses to make himself feel better?

Why the fuck are we even talking about those degenerate butt plugs from up north. Next game is PSU. BWI is going be in their typical mid season delusional form, and as of now nothing will be more satisfying than delivering a dose of reality to these miserable fucking reprobates. I rest my fucking case.

Are people really freaking out over the defense? Wow. They had exactly one successful drive against the starting defense. One. Now, they had 2 single plays they can't give up to a good team without it biting them in the ass, but when you give up 14 of 21 points (the last td was against the 2nd team defense after the 2nd team offensive line/center went full retard) on a blown coverage 50+ yard pass and a crappy 70 yard QB draw, I see the defense that shut them down. Can't have the blown coverage. And we need to get better against mobile qbs. But at least in the regular season, we don't face a dynamic runner who runs a 4.6 like their QB did. Especially not UM or MSU, our 2 toughest remaining opponents.

You don't have to be the #1 team in the country every single week. You only need to be the best team in the stadium on Saturday. It's a different team every week.

To give further numbers, they had 386 yards of total offense. The 2 outlier plays and the final drive against the 2nd team add up to 174. That means they only had 212 yards outside of those situations. Not saying you can pretend they didn't happen, but gives a better view of how the defense did outside of those situations.

Edit: what I'm basically getting at is if they went for 386 and 28 points against only our starting D and all on legit long methodical drives, then I would be freaking out a bit. That and if we were facing a talented DT QB later in the season. But they didn't do that, and we aren't facing one. That is unless we make the playoffs.
