tOSU vs PSU (Official Game Thread)

OSU travels to Penn State Saturday at 5 p.m. (ESPN-Plus regional syndication). The Lions fell to 7-15 overall and 1-8 in Big Ten play with a 77-50 loss at Purdue Wednesday. OSU defeated PSU 68-62 on Jan. 26 in Columbus.

This is a must win for tOSU, if we want to get 20 wins on the season.

No it's not. We have six more games left. we can go 22-8 if we win all of our remaining games.

Also, we have the Big 10 tourny to look forward to. Yes we are in the Big 10 tournament.

We may be able to get to 20 without this one but losing to PSU would be a wasted opportunity. The Buckeyes SHOULD beat this team, even on their court.

Still, I expect the Lions won't make it easy for the Bucks.

Oh8ch, can we at least get a vbet for how the game will finish? Even if it doesn't get made in time for tipoff, it could still be difficult to pick the winner with the way our team can be schizophrenic between halves...

Thank goodness, the stupid Minn-IU game is finally over (they stuck with the coverage of it despite between it being well over for quite some time).

We're shooting WAY too many threes. Starting to get a little bit more looks inside, but our whole gameplan seems to be try to pretend for a while like we're gonna go inside and then shoot the three.

22-16, could be better, but not awful.

I hate officials but they aren't the problem so far in the game they are letting a lot go especially on rebounds. We are taking too many 3pt shots. All our shots are 3's or inside shots by Dials. Somebody needs to hit some mid-range shots or we need to start canning the 3's we're taking.

I'd really like to see them stop Dials 15 times this half. You give it to him that many times, and I think he'd score 15-20 points between baskets and free throws (i.e. 6 FGs & 8-14 FT, assuming he missed twice with no fouls).

Especially if we're gonna land a few of these top recruits inside, Matta's gotta show a commitment to dials.

Heck yes, #18 OU's third loss recently. My hatred of their pigskin preferential treatment definitely carries over.

The Bucks are only shooting 37%, overall, thanks to missing 10 of 14 threes. The good news? PSU is shooting only 29%.

Not exactly a thing of beauty but at least we're ahead by five.

How about some better shot selection, guys?

I hope Thad can turn our FT shooting around in the future. Cuz this year's team is absurdly poor from the stripe.
