Also not sure why we continue to try to play into Purdue's hands with Amir and McDonald instead of going small and forcing Purdue to get them off the court for someone who can guard a 6-7 guy.

KBD made a bad decision about halfway through the 1st when he had space to take a mid-range jumper but decided to dribble into the trees a bit and unsurprisingly was blocked by 2 Purdue players, with a 3rd keeping the pass shut down. I think he also slipped up on D the following possession. Forget if he was promptly pulled, though.

No idea why he doesn't log big minutes. He was the blessing of Loving's benching. Thad's continued trust of seniors who have not progressed is frustrating at times.

Yeah. I'd rather see some open run-n-gun at this point.

The half-court offense putrid. The sets start 35 feet from the basket (usually with a lazy pass and receive). Just push the ball.

Matta's issues always have been he tightens down the rotation a bit too much at times. Usuaully hurts us late in games where we make a run from 15 down to 5. He runs with the same guys who started the run the rest of the game and they wear down never ever able to getany closer but flirting with the mark a few times. I understand going with the hot hand sometimes but he also seems stuck in his rotation pattern when the team is having a bad game like this. Very rarely has he pulled anyone due to having an abysmal game throughout his tenture. It usually the game after where they don't start that the message is sent
