Watched the game on DVR but my goodness. Only in NCAA bball do you see consistent horrible officiating game in and game out. I wish something would be done to address his issue. NBA officials are on a whole other level. Disgusting watching these games be decided by refs

There were several "questionable" (or blatantly poor) calls at both ends. I definitely don't believe the Bucks were helped by the officiating, but in the end they got the desperately needed win. Hopefully they can build on this to finish the season strong and get a good seed. At this point, if they can finish strong they could end up with a 5-7 seed.

I saw some lineup changes today from Matta - he did clearly change the rotations up via his substitutions.

there won't hopefully be many games that are officiated this way. It took Ross and Thompson completely out of the game and made it very hard to play normal defense.

The reffing was so bad I really think it took Wisconsin out of their offensive rhythm in the 2nd half too.

I'm not a huge Dakich fan. Sometimes he's insightful and sometimes just off the wall. However, his comment today about not knowing what you're going to get from Scott possession to possession was spot on. He made some excellent plays on both ends (loved the assist where he 'megged the defender with the bounce pass), but it seems like for every good play he makes, he'll take an unadvised 3 early in the shot clock, with no attempt to break the defense down, or something similar.

Final foul count was Ohio State 23 to Wisconsin 13.

Normally, Thad Matta teams try not to foul, but the officiating was questionable.

Take the win and run to the bus/airplane.

I don't believe the foul count at the end of each game should be equal (maybe you don't either), but I get very frustrated with touch fouls that do not gain an advantage for the defender. Calling a game that way punishes aggressive defense, prevents any offensive flow, and sucks the life out of a game.

"No harm, no foul, play on" should be the rule, not the "he touched him so technically that's a foul" nonsense we saw today. But overcoming that garbage made the win even more enjoyable.

A few times there wasn't even a touch. The defenders arm just happened to be moving towards the "victim." That phantom call on Scott <1 minute left was one of the most ridiculous calls I've ever seen...no hyperbole.

When the season started, I thought Bucky Badger was going to be the team to beat in the BIG. And Ohio State would have there hands full with this team. I would have never guessed the outcome of these 2 teams. Now we are looking at a up-side down, topsy turvey league that you don't know who the hell will win all the marbles. Go figure huh? Ohio State wins it in a close one or it's a blowout for Wisconsin.
One thing I like about this game is that we will not have to play Wisconsin anymore. They are going to be one Pissed off basketball team down the stretch. On the reverse side, our Buckeyes can keep the momentum the rest of the way.

First time in Thad's 10 years that OSU did not lose to UW in the regular season. Lost in Madison in 2005, 2006, 2007, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2013, and lost at VCA in 2005, 2008 and 2012.

Great job by OSU to sneak out of the Kohl Center with a victory! Feels great to have 2 wins there the past 3 years when they had gotten shut out for a decade. Nice resume win, hopefully it will help the team build confidence and propel them to more success at Iowa.
