Toughest place to play?

The Swamp, Death Valley, Kyle Field, Neyland Stadium, and the Horseshoe all have to be on a level of their own. Personally, I have to go with the Horseshoe, we've been the most consistent team the last 4-5 years, and we rarely ever lose at Home.

On Bucknuts theres a thread on Autzen Stadium, apparently, some Ducks and Wolverines say that the 58,000 set stadium is louder than the Horseshoe?

Where do you guys think the toughest place to play is? Mention personal experiences if you have some. I'm curious to see if all of you will pick the Shoe or will go with somewhere else.

I have been to three stadiums in my life. The first one was Northwestern against OSU in 2004 and it was nothing. Only like 40,000 people showed. This past year I was at the Shoe for the Texas OSU game and the Michigan OSU game in AA. You cannot compare the two. Michigan may have somthing like 10,000 more fans in the stadium, but they get done and turn on the team when they being to lose and are just dead quite when they lose. If you are winning in AA, you are gonna be just fine thnks to the fans.

I have never been to any SEC stadium, but those crazy Southerners take their football seriously, so I would assume those stadiums can be pretty rough to play in.

I'd have to go with theShoe based on noise and size alone. I've also heard that the "Autzen Zoo" is pretty tough, but until Oregon becomes a consistent winner, it doesn't really merit this kind of recognition. Our game in Happy Valley last October was about as hostile as I've ever seen a crowd though.

I purposely left Crappy Valley off of my list because no one even cared about PSU before this year, theyve had one good year in the last 10 years, I think it will be back to normal next year, since they lost most of their team.

You could say the same about any stadium when the team is down.

I absolutely despise PSU and their fans but to be fair thats easily one of the top 5 loudest and toughest stadiums to play in.

Being as I haven't been to a game at Autzen, The Swamp, etc... I don't feel that I can say anything about those stadiums but based on personal experience, Camp Randall in Madison is the toughest I've been too.

Granted I was there for the OSU night game a few years back.

My vote goes to Baghdad. I think that would be a very difficult place to play.

Seriously, is there really any doubt that Camp Randall is the worst away game? The other fans are amateurs at making opposing teams feel unwelcome; Badger fans have gone pro.
