  • Texas RB retires after concussions

Wow, I'm shocked a player would realize this young the damage he could be doing to himself and is doing the right thing for his future. I hope for players sake they really do think about there future and not some of the stupid things his teammates said

"I support Tre' but for me personally, I'd die on that field," Williams said.

Mods if this belongs somewhere else please move

Some people love the game just that much. Its their life.

You can talk to some of the older players about how their doing mentally and physically. Kosar was asked that same question while doing commentating for a Browns game. He listed his issues and his concussions. Then said if he was able he would play all over again.

I realize he may not be speaking for every former (or current) player, but I'd be willing to bet my own life many upon many feel the exact same.

edit: That said. Shame to see a young talent endure that type of separation. Leaving your teammates and a great game beyond can't be easy. I'm sure he'll find a niche' involving something
with football I'm sure. Look no further then Marcus Freeman for example.
