ttun basketball (Juwan out, Dusty May in)

This is why I don't want to play them in the B1G tourney. I want that number to climb well over 1000, and they don't deserve a second crack at this season's basketball team.

Let's see their football team try (again) to end it.

Well, I guess we don't have to worry about it now. I miss the days of being able to laugh at them constantly, but it's kinda hard to do when the Bucks go 17-15. At least one of those 17 was against them.

Thank God they lost. I couldn't deal with them making it to a regional final this year.

Their excellent run after losing to tOSU was mostly on the back of Derrick Walton, who was on fire the last two months. He gone. They also lose their second leading scorer, F Zak Irvin, a former top-recruit who was wildly inconsistent over his four years. He too played quite well down the stretch. Their 3rd and 4th best players, big-men Moritz Wagner and DJ Wilson are both underclassmen. I don't know their intentions, but given the nba's love for big men that can shoot, I wouldn't be shocked to see Wagner go (he hit 40% of his 114 three attempts).

They have a 3-man recruiting class coming in, not one of them ranked in the top-100. Xavier Simpson (1.6 ppg), the #57 recruit in 2016 I would assume is penciled in as Walton's replacement.

I expect a significant drop-off next year. Both Walton and Irvin were huge parts (Walton maybe THE catalyst) to their late-season success. They'll be hard to replace. If Wagner goes pro, that's their top-3 players gone, and they have not recruited particularly well the last 2-3 years (1 top-100 player).

There were starting to be calls for Beilein's head, peaking after the loss to a bad tOSU team. It will be interesting if that re-fires next year if they struggle again.

I actually think DJ Wilson was their best player down the stretch with the most NBA potential. Between his shooting ability, ball handling skills, and size I think the NBA will love his long-term potential.

He likely played himself into the first round should he declare. Will be interesting to see what he decides to do....

Lost to a pretty bad LSU squad the other night.
