ttun basketball (Juwan out, Dusty May in)

While I agree with you, I still don't see them doing any better.

Oh, no. Not at all. He had it humming those last 8 years.

I was referring to some posts I saw talking about how much they loved him the past 12 years. They were ready to run his ass out on a rail at multiple points.

As recently as December 2017, after Holtmann waxed them in his rivalry debut, there were multiple "fire beilein" threads on their boards.

evan daniels just put in a crystal ball to kansas for jalen wilson. ranked 50th, wilson is ttun's jewel in their 2-player class for 2019.

so help me if ttun hires porter moser, i'll have to wear diapers because i won't be able to control myself. he may be the most meh among all meh hires. the absolute worst hire that ttun should make is yaklich, which would be fine if not good.

in a perfect world, ttun hires moser and moser doesn't retain yaklich.

edit: that's assuming that beilein isn't taking yaklich with him... which would be glorious.

I wonder if this guy knows that this is the reason Chicago’s President, Robert Hutchins, pulled them from the Big Ten, Michigan corruption in football recruiting.

Hutchins was addressing the Detroit Chamber of Commerce in October of 1939, two weeks after Michigan had destroyed the Maroons 85 to zip. His comments went something along the lines of, "Two weeks ago a team many of you helped recruit to Michigan defeated my school in a contest in which the winning team used men who were basically professional athletes..." Everyone was sure it was sour grapes and that it would lead to the end of Chicago as a major university. While many of Hutchins' ideas were considered a bit too far out - a curriculum based entirely on the great books - his leadership is part of the foundation that led to Chicago becoming one of the premier schools in the US with an academic record that outstrips Ann Arbor and an endowment fund of more than 4 billion.
