ttun News (2016 version)

As this story has continued, I've heard people say he did it at Stanford too but it didn't get this kind of press. I still haven't seen any more info on just what happened, so I can't really speak on it yet. For all we know, JH sat up and chatted with the parents and then crashed on the couch. I'd be more inclined to be worried about what kind of parents would let a stranger (assuming they don't really know JH yet. Don't know how long he's been recruiting Nordin) sleep on the floor of their kids room, if that's where he actually slept.

You'd be more inclined to worry about the parents? What about the coach who has on more that one occasion told a kid he was gonna sleep in their room with them, and get to know them? Fucking weirdo. Don't understand why he's getting a pass. Seems you guys know he's crazy but are just willing to deal with it bc you think he will deliver a winner.

Well yeah......but think about it. This kid is being wooed by one of the top coaches in the country. He's being blinded by the flashing lights. Having a conversation with JH, JH says "yeah man, I'll be there at 12:01, we'll play some video games, talk about what Michigan can offer you, if it gets late I'll crash at your house.".............what high school kid isn't going to run the top of a mountain and start screaming about how awesome it would be as a top recruit to have coach crash at this house because they want him to play at their school? No recruit is going to say "oh man, I don't know coach, that's pretty weird." That's where the parents need to step in and say "sorry coach, 12:01 is to late to be showing up, Quinn has school," or "sure you can show up and meet and talk, but then you'll have come back later."

At some point the parents have to get involved because like ever other coach out there, they are doing all they can to get recruits to show up and play.

I'm not giving him a pass, I think it's weird. It's less weird if he crashed out on a couch in a different room too. Or stayed up chatting the parents then left. I still haven't heard what actually happened. But to your point, and like I said elsewhere I think, he's doing this after a 10 win season. I don't think it flies after a 5 win season.

The strangest thing about this whole bucket of strange is he's sleeping over at a KICKER'S HOUSE. I mean shit, you do what you gotta do to land a 5* QB, OL, DL...maybe even a CB...but a fucking kicker?

It would be pretty fucking great if the kicker chose...well, any other school really.

What would turn this from just some strange coach doing weird shit to land a recruit to legend would be if Harbaugh landed the kid, the kid kicks at tsun for 4 years, and misses a would be game winning FG against tOSU his senior year. THAT would be fantastic.
