ttun News (2016 version)

Plus when u have 1 good cover corner and ur other starter is now out with a ACL that ain't good when facing a team that just had 8 different players score a TD.

This team of ours is now one that doesn't have 1 cog that you stop to have a chance. The system operates no matter who's in and that's dangerous for other teams because you just have to play and hope we don't find the mismatch because on every play I assure you there is a mismatch it's just up to JT in finding it.

Considering scum isn't scoring 28+ I feel safe.

very likely because it's the exact damn same team with a worse QB.

 What does it say about Suga Shane that he couldnt beat out Speight or even Korn Cob (who also couldnt beat out Speight) for the backup job. He has turned out to be worse of a savior than Tater Tot. Illustrious career of 0 TD and 5 INT in garbage time situations

Pretty solid synopsis.

But here's the good news for Michigan: The Wolverines don't have to be ready for that game until Thanksgiving weekend. That offers plenty of time to improve....These two teams sure appear headed for a collision course. Michigan still must ascend a little by Nov. 26 to reach Ohio State's level.
So the team starting 16 seniors, including eight 5th-year seniors, has "plenty of time to improve" ... but the team with 16 new starters and just 4 seniors in the entire two-deep will stay stagnant for the next two months. Okay....

At least the author gives those hopeless Buckeyes some credit, for currently being just "a little" bit better than those rapidly-improving Wolverines.

I can't wait until Urban brings out the plunger on November 26th.

Serious knee injury a season-ender for Michigan LT Grant Newsome

Michigan’s offensive line took a pretty serious blow on Saturday with the loss of left tackle Grant Newsome. A knee injury cut his afternoon against Wisconsin short, and now it has been confirmed the injury will bring an end to the 2016 season for Newsome as well.

Michigan head coach Jim Harbaugh announced today Newsome suffered a serious knee injury that will cost him the remainder of the regular season. The right knee injury occurred in the first half against Wisconsin and Harbaugh was reportedly pessimistic about Newsome’s outlook immediately following the game. On Monday, Harbaugh updated the situation by saying Newsome may require surgery.

Doesn't everyone on the OL wear those knee braces?

Why isn't Newsome wearing one?

i

He's wearing one here in another "old photo".

I sure hope it's in the form of Dontre Wilson. I have a fantasy where he returns the opening kickoff, and the next two punts after 3 & outs for touchdowns while Jessica Alba is blowing me.

Of course it would all have to happen in the first 3 minutes or less and I'd probably have to think about baseball the whole time.

Seemed like Kyle [Kalis] really brought some intensity Saturday. Can you talk about how he played?

“Yeah, Kyle always brings intensity. Kyle Kalis?”

Yeah.

“Yeah, always. Practice, games, weight room, meetings.”

Was that one of the better games you’ve seen him play this year?

“Yeah. I thought he played extremely well. He’s been doing that consistently good his entire career here at Michigan. Strong. He’s strong. Kalis Strong.”
