I have to question the mental faculties of any skill position player that considers committing to ttun. For real. Putting aside the blind hatred, they haven't had a meaningful skill position player up there in YEARS and haven't had one drafted in the 1st round since (IIRC) Braylon Edwards in 2005. A decade and a half...

I read that Sparty was actually cooling on the kid and prefers 2 other QBs on their board over him. He has offers from Georgia & Auburn but those don't seem like they are "committable offers". Utah took that Johnson kid scUM was also after (The fast guy who is not that great of a passer) over this guy. Not exactly a "hot rising prospect". Apparently according to someone in that thread a West Coast 247 guy said scUM was his only committable P5 offer at the moment.

To add, even some of the DFBIA in that thread point out that the film isnt very good and its a "massive project" recruit.

then you get the standard "trust the coaches" sunshine pumper jumping in. Lots of trust in coaches who have done absolutely nothing to earn it.

Isn't it possible that the film is misleading? 2020 wasn't exactly normal for high schools, either.

What I do know is that he worked out, in person, for the coaches, today, and he "impressed" them. So, there's that.

That didnt take long

It’s almost like it was his only P5 commitable offer.

Also, bump:

As always, looking forward to more details on the other QBs on their board which caused them to pass over the kid that was their priority last week.

Because surely the coaching staff up there isn’t just flailing wildly around desperately trying to land whoever expresses a modicum of interest regardless of their ranking.

Just watched the highlights- I’m no expert but his release seems slow with a throwing motion that drops the elbow and makes his throws a little sidearm. He also seems to be constantly falling away from throws, even when there is zero pressure and he isn’t on the move.

I might be a bit biased, though, as my most recent point of comparison is Ewers.

Tate Forcier 2.0? Sweet Woody in heaven if his family could have half the website development/marketing chops I'd help move the kid in.

Harbaugh wrecks kids who come with actual skill sets and they really think hes going to develop a major project.
