Recruits appear to be buzzing

Domani Jackson doesn't include Michigan in his final 2. DFBIA has been convinced they still had a pretty good chance after he decommitted from USC earlier. He was at the game on Saturday too......they are naturally shocked that 1 win over Ohio State doesn't = immediate high level recruiting success.

When he said he was delaying his commitment, I was thinking it had to do with Lincoln Riley's hire and not TSUN's win. But in usual Meatchicken fashion, it has to be their massive victory over OSU.

The way TSUN acted during and after that game, may have even turned him off.

Well, lost in all the coaching chaos is the fact that scUM benefitted from both Lincoln Riley leaving Oklahoma and Brent Venables leaving Clemson.

When Riley left the Sooners, top DL prospect Derrick Moore (#79 overall; .9674 rating) flipped from Oklahoma to scUM.

When Venables left the Tigers, top safety prospect Keon Sabb (#94 overall; .9621 rating) flipped from Clemson to scUM.

Even with the last minute addition of a pair of top-100 prospects, scUM's average per recruit is still just 89.90 (Ohio State's is currently 94.04).

Such a shame.
After reeling in a four-star tight end in Andrew Rappleyea in the afternoon, the class which had grown to five is now back down to four. Richmond (Va.) Benedictine defensive tackle Joel Starlings had committed to Michigan the day after the Wolverines’ win over Ohio State, but on Sunday, he pulled back, announcing he was decommitting from the class.

I’m disappointed he didn’t decommit immediately after the Georgia game.

Guess Harbaugh is selling the 'big win', and rightfully so. But these young folk are more intelligent these days, so they know that one isolated data point does not a forecast make. Would like to hear a Xichigan recruit ask Jimbo, "what's your plan to overcome tOSU's 18-3 record over you guys in the 21st century?"
