stat posted on reddit:

since 1998, ttun is the only team (of 13) with at least 10 players taken in a single draft not to have won its division during the prior 4 seasons.

bonus stat:

also the only team not to have finished at least 2nd in its division during the prior 4 seasons.
That equates to superior coaching, amirite?

that is the retort from the harbaugh apologists, and it does explain the '12, '13, '14, and even '15 seasons. but '16? nah, that doesn't pass muster for last year. not at all.
Hey now, Iowa had 4 guys drafted in the 3rd round or later. They also signed 1, 0, 2 & 0 four star recruits in their previous 4 recruiting classes (and no 5's). Though things are looking up, as they signed 1 five star and 3 four stars for this incoming class.

of course one could make note of the fact Don Jimote did not actually recruit the 10 guys that were drafted. He only managed to place 3rd in his own division with them.

I know that somehow morphs into ZOMG Harbaugh11enty!! to the DFBIA but something worth noting anyway.
