JT and Urban but it's not over yet.

If they somehow miracle win this fucker they'll be right back up on the pompous hype horse.

Buckeyes take care of business again this year and the damn will continue to crumble.

2017 is shaping up as one of the big ones

I think it'll be bigger if Hairball manages to stay through next season, loses to "little brother" AND tOSU again. And then bolts after that season. It would be a clear admittance of defeat, when he stayed at him alma mater for 4yrs and went 0-4 against both his biggest rivals and was the highest paid coach in the conference who was supposed to be the schools savior. Not too many more meatchicken men they can find with name recognition after that. Especially with tOSU having the football team on a roll now and Franklin bringing Ped St back to prominence, and Mich St had an off season of strife and is still better than scUM...

He's being out recruited for the top end talent by Meyer and Franklin. He seems to have conceded the field to Dantonio for all the Ohio kids that OSU doesn't want/can't take.

In typical tsun arrogance, he seems to think his name, the jumpman logo and the scUM brand will have 5 stars from coast to coast lining up to play for tsun. It obviously isn't working out like that. All the big schools that recruit nationally have a home base of talent, ND has the catholic high school system. scUM's "base" has always been poaching Ohio and numbnuts seems to be oblivious to this fact.

Kind of like the window slamming shut on his SR laden team last year, the honeymoon period of his recruiting is over and what does he have to show for it? Working on a fringe top 20 class so far for '18 and the rumors of him leaving are already starting.

Problem is, Hairball not only spurned their recruiting base, but did it by going to the SEC region and assuming that the national brand of scUM is going to be more powerful than schools in kids' backyards. By holding those satellite camps in the heart of SEC country he went right after those schools in AL, FL, GA and then wanted to still get kids from OH, NJ and the elite from MI. Hiring HS coaches will only go so far, and once the NCAA closed that door, he hasn't found an alternative. I'll give him faint praise for using the NCAA gray areas, but if all you're using is gimmicks to recruit and win, then are you really that great of a coach?
