It tickles the hell out of me to see scUM struggle. I can't root for them - ever!

Ponder this for a moment. If scUM loses their bowl game this year, that will be five straight losses in bowls for them. FIVE!

Since Tressel arrived at Ohio State, scUM is 1-6 in The Game and with a loss to Florida they will be 1-6 in bowl games over the same period.

I revel in their struggles. I love it that an entire generation of high school football recruits are growing up without being able to witness anything resembling on the field success at Michigan.

Michigan needs to recruit nationally to survive. If they don't turn it around soon, they may continue to struggle for a long time. A time may be fast approaching where no Ohio recruits will give them the time of day. Atleast not any that Ohio State wants anyway. We might already be there.

Are big time recruits from places like Arizona and California and Missouri, etc. going to keep wanting to go to Michigan so they can spend their college careers losing big games. No young kid wants to be associated with a loser if they can help it.

TSUN will start to become kids' fall back option and not their primary school of interest. Sort of like Michigan State. ScUM will still get recruits because there are only so many schollies to go around but maybe they'll start missing on the elite recruits they used to get.

One would think that the wall around Ohio is gonna start getting pretty high and next year the Buckeyes are set up nicely for five in a row in The Game. In weird sort of way, I'm glad the Buckeyes struggled against scUM in the 90's because that experience has allowed me to enjoy our present success all the more.

Ohio State plays for National Championships and scUM plays for the Capital One bowl or our BCS at-large scraps. Thank God for Jim Tressel.

Fuck Michigan. The deserve to spend some time at the back of the line.

Go Buckeyes!!!!

I too was rooting on App St. for a while when I thought that there was no way that UM would lose, but as time went on I was thinking "Shit. This is the team that was supposed to win the Big 10 this year."

Sorry, but I'll have the Block M on during the game. I'll take it off during commercials and when the game is over (or out of hand) back in the closet it goes.

Mili, please don't poop in my mailbox. Sometimes my daughter goes out to get the mail and I don't want to risk her catching you in the act. I can't afford that kind of therapy for her. :biggrin:

I too am an oddball I guess; I tend to root for ALL of the Big Ten teams in any game outside the conference and especially in the bowl games. Do you notice that every Big Ten team is an underdog in the upcoming bowl season, I would love nothing more than to see Illinois surprise USC, Michigan to grind one out against Florida (the heisman curse catches up quick to Tebow and he plays an awful game) and of course we win big over LSU. A healthy Big Ten is critical for the rep of tOSU if for nothing else a boost to their SOS in our annual drive for the NC game.

Watch Jim Tressel when someone asks him how the conference will do in Bowl Games. If he doesn't think a team will win, he won't say they will. But neither will he do what Manningham did. If you don't know what I'm getting at, and you really are an OSU fan; then you need to go watch 30 hours of tape of JT interviews.

As DBB said, you start out every OOC game "rooting" for scUM with the head and as soon as they struggle the emotions take over and it makes you very happy.

This time around, it's a bit different. I'm not wearing a fucking M hat or anything but as I said in another thread I'd root for a team of Taliban pedophiles vs UF.

Fuck them and (Gatorubet aside) their inferiority complex having, I don't know how to handle success, trash talking, myopic, ingnorant, classless fan base. They are trash.

I really don't think that we gain anything by holding back like this. Sure, some of us like Gatorubet, but that doesn't mean we should refrain from expressing our true opinions and simply candy-coat everything...:biggrin:
