If Harbaugh were to mysteriously disapear off the face of the Earth right now, the coach that would be hired would have a massively talented group to work with that only 4-5 other teams could match/beat in terms of raw talent.

Is this poster making a suggestion?

I'm thinking we change the thread title to something like "DFBIA wine cellar" or treasure trove...something to show we are storing some of the best stuff for future schadenfreude binges.

Yes. I'm curious how they stack up to Bama and Clemson.

Since they've never even participated in a conference championship game, let alone won it.

I mean I give fuck-all about recruiting, so indulge my laziness on the subject and tell me exactly how our classes compared. They're acting like this is some crazy, Alabama class full of 5 star kids.

And we can add this... Day whiffed on the #265 overall prospect this year, because it appears last years #2 overall prospect wants to transfer to Ohio St.

Best class in the Big Ten by far?

Sure, Michigan has the highest overall score, due solely to the fact that they have nine more recruits than Penn State and eleven more recruits than Ohio State. But using the more important metric - average ranking per recruit - Michigan is a distant third, almost two points per recruit behind Ohio State and Penn State. As soon as the the 2019 class is fully signed, and NFL declarations are made, I will update THIS CHART comparing the talent on each team's roster. Needless to say, Ohio State will still be miles ahead of Michigan in the talent department, especially if the Buckeyes land Justin Fields as a transfer. Here's a little preview of the top 20:

Those cute idiotic little scUM fans. Sometimes children just don’t realize how big the world is. They think they are ready to take it on full speed but they’ve never even been outside their own neighborhood. See, first, you win your division. Then, you win your conference. Then, and only then, need you worry about how your class and team stack up against the real players in college football. Kids are stupid. Drugs are bad.

So scUM is toting around a large bag of shit and calling it gold while Ohio State is walking around with a smaller bag full of diamonds? Even funnier is your list shows Shea Patterson as the top composite score and we all know for a fact that he truly belongs much, much lower on the list. Even that absurd list doesn’t tell the true story of just how many miles behind those mutants are. Great times.

The other part of that top 20 is how many of those players are already contributors - that is to say, aren't incoming freshman and consequently without any college experience...

2 of scUM's 4 players in the top 20 have taken a college rep.
13 of Ohio State's 16 have taken reps and 10 of them are solidly in their respective rotations

nonetheless, Ohio State adds 3 incoming frosh to this list, to scUM's two additions...

Bottom line... more talent, more experience... and again, that's before Fields (assuming he transfers in) is added to the list knocking Charbonnet out of the top 20
