Sheridan threw two interceptions in the second half and both came via tipped passes off of receiver Toney Clemons’ hands. Both throws were high, but they were still catchable.

Steven Threet’s biggest advantage over Sheridan is that his errant throws are too far away from anybody to be intercepted. There is no fear of a tipped pass when it is thirteen yards beyond anybody in the vicinity.

Not putting this in the Recruiting Forum due to Michigan Man's potty mouth:

Peppers and Gary went from top five recruits in the country to being drafted mid-first round and the only reason they didn’t drop further is because they had so far to go to reach their ceilings. Good luck developing three stars.

and that’s something to hang their hat on according to them.

Of course that's something to hang their hats on. And so are all the victories over Adelbert, Adrian, Albion, American Medical, Ann Arbor High School (yes, they claim a win over a high school), Beloit, Butler, Camp Grant, Carlisle, Carroll, Case, Denison, DePauw, Detroit, Detroit Athletic Club, Detroit Industrial, Drake, Ferris State, Grand Rapids, Great Lakes, Harvard Club (Chicago), Hillsdale, Kalamazoo, Kenyon, Lawrence, Lehigh, Long Beach State, Michigan A.A, Michigan M.A, Mount Union, Oberlin, Ohio Northern, Ohio Wesleyan, Olivet, P&S Chicago, Peninsulars, Quantico Marines, Racine, Rush Lake Forest, Stevens Institute, Toronto, Wabash, Washington Univ. (Mo.), Wesleyan, Western Reserve, Windsor Club, and Wittenberg.

most of which occurred prior to the invention of the forward pass.....

Most all-time wins though!!!!

You should just add some fake shit to that list. Nobody would notice if we gave them wins over Starfleet Academy, Lincoln College of Technology, Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, Hamburger University, or Hack Reactor (coding bootcamp).

Harvard Club (Chicago)

"Hey, Chaz, Fielding here. Can you get 10 other guys together and come down to play us this Saturday? We need 4 more wins for the week.

Yes, I am perfectly aware that you are an alumni group in Chicago and not actually Harvard.

Jesus, no..I don't care how old, feeble or sober they are. I don't care if they went to Harvard or ever played a down of football in their life. Just get me 11 warm bodies please. We need to make this look official.

Thanks"

See, we don't need to add any fake shit. The fact that I was able to make a list that size pretty quickly (I just skimmed the list) is pretty funny. And I know that playing these teams was the norm back then. So I don't fault them for their past. But they should at least put a lower bound to the list. Maybe make the list "Since 2000", or "During your lifetime." I think that one is fair. If Michigan beat Ann Arbor High School during your lifetime, you can talk shit about their all-time wins. If that was before you were born, then close your eyes and remember that the only reason that you didn't get 70 hung on your top-ranked defense is because Urban coasted in to the finish line.
