I was curious as to whether or not McCaffrey played another snap of football after getting concussed in the Wisconsin game, seen here:

It turns out he did play later in 2019, against Notre Dame a month later and Maryland the following week. But, that's not really what stood out to me....

The guy has played in 10 games over two years behind Mississippi Jesus

His passing numbers? How about this career line: 18-35 (51.4%) for 242 and 3 TDs.
Sure, but he's mobile, right? 23 rushing attempts for 166 yards and 2 scores. One of those scores was his longest career run, 44 yards against Wisconsin as a freshman and appears to be an outlier.

Anyway..... For comparison's sake:

Chris Chuganov played in 9 games for Ohio State. He was 26-43 (60.5%) for 286 and 6 TDs

Not much of a runner, though... 4 carries for -10

Daily reading of GoBlow is good for comical relief

OSU officially matching the recruiting hire of Harbaugh. Going to be tough sledding. Dude's one of the best recruiters out there. Let's hope Day shows he cant coach, and that's how the wheels fall off.

This implies that the guy they hired from South Florida is equal to Coombs

If I am a young dude being recruited, I trust Jean-Mary more. I think many will. Coombs has experience, but not much more. I think the bigger problem is we don't cheat and they and the other big schools do.

Great recruiter, wasn't a great position coach.

They're approaching the apotheosis of participation ribbon culture by basically saying "We can't compete, so instead of working to get better we need to have others eliminate obstacles to success for us."

Literally the only thing the DFBIA considers to be worth earning through hard work and dedication is the title "DFBIA" itself. Everything else should just be given to them because.

We are precisely one elite quarterback behind those teams. Put Joe Burrow behind our center and we are in the title game. If Shea hit half of the open deep targets in the bowl, we beat Bama.

An elite QB would be nice but the so-called QB whisperer has been mute since he got here. Shea was a 5* #1 in his class and that’s the best Harbaugh could do? You think Harbaugh develops Burrow as well as Brady did or as well as Day did with a first year starter two years in a row? Starting to think Luck was a transcendent college QB and Harbaugh just managed not to screw him up.

The beatings are managing to get through to some of them though.
